Bio

Johnny Bosco is pure rock bass — no frills, all groove, and built for the stage. He came up in Southern California's San Gabriel Valley, a scene that produced some of the biggest names in hard rock: Eddie Van Halen; Jack Russell, Mark Kendall and Audie Desbrow of Great White; Don Dokken and George Lynch of Dokken; and Tracy G of Dio. Johnny has shared the stage with many of them, and with many more players from that era. As the story goes, he traded in his only car for a Fender bass and never looked back.

That bass has taken him from the Sunset Strip to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Nashville and Maui, and to San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, where he has built a loyal fan base and is a sought-after act for high-end private events.

In 2019, Johnny co-founded Bad Advice Music Company with his childhood friend Rob Montague. In 2025 he signed with Rylo Records, an up-and-coming independent label, and is now recording his new album, Work Hard, Get Lucky. When he's not touring, Johnny stays busy playing with local tribute bands, bringing the music of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and AC/DC to Southern California stages.
